This upcoming long weekend marks the first Victoria Day since a blanket ban on fireworks was introduced in the City of Brampton. The ban was implemented after the number of calls related to fireworks jumped significantly last summer.
Despite the ban, there will still be plenty of ways to celebrate Victoria Day in Brampton. The amusement park will kick off their season-long fireworks display on Saturday, May 20th. There will also be live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities throughout the weekend.
