Matt Warburton has never won a Paralympic medal in an individual event

Matt Warburton is one of Britain’s most successful para-swimmers, with multiple World and European titles to his name, but there is one major title missing from his collection – a Paralympic gold medal.

The 24-year-old has come close, winning silver at Rio 2016 and bronze at Tokyo 2020, but he is determined to go one better in Paris in 2024.

Warburton will be competing in the 200m individual medley, 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke in Paris, and he is confident that he can challenge for gold in all three events.
